Chame (Nepali: चाँमे) is the headquarters of Manang District in the Gandaki Zone of northern Nepal. With the magnificent view of Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Lamjung and Mt Anapurna range Chame is famous for its unique habitation located at 2700 m altitude from sea level. It is also known as Gateway to Heaven.
